Equal Employment Opportunity abbreviated as (EEO) is a body of federal laws mandated with the responsibility of protecting applicants and employees from discrimination in any employment aspect. The Human Resource Manager of the technology company has to comply with the current EEO laws (Nielsen, Nelson & Lancaster, 2010). The Human Resource Manager will encounter the Equal Pay Act of 1963 (EPA) that protects women and men who perform equal work in the same establishment from sex-based wage discrimination. The manager will have to ensure equal wage benefits to both men and women with the same credentials and tasks. The Human Resource Manager will equally encounter Title VII of the Civil Right Act of the year 1964 that prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Besides acquiring employees with the needed credentials and certifications, the Human Resource Manager must also ensure that it does not discriminate potential employees based on color, religion, sex, race or national origin. The HR manager needs to provide equal employment opportunities and diversity within the workplace by complying with the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In addition, the Human Resource Manager has to comply with the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of the year 1967 (ADEA) that protects individuals who are above forty years old. The HR Manager has to ensure that the failure of overlooking more aged people in efforts to acquire new employees does not occur
